Where Biomedical Research, Robotics, AI, Puzzles, and Creative Expression Meet

Building Ideas Across Research, Robotics, and Creativity

Alan Jihoon Choi brings together biomedical research, robotics, artificial intelligence, puzzle design, coding, and original music. His work shows how curiosity can grow into real projects, from SCI-E published research and international robotics competitions to creative problem-solving projects that connect science, technology, and human expression.

Research

Alan explores biology, biotechnology, environmental health, and antibiotic resistance. His research connects scientific questions with engineering tools, including EV3-based laboratory automation and experimental design.

Robotics

Alan has built robotics projects for real-world problems, including biomedical automation, climate-resilient livestock systems, AI-based ocean mapping, and public creative spaces. He won the Champion Award at the 2025 FIRST LEGO League Asia Open Championship in Macau.

Projects

Beyond research and robotics, Alan works on puzzles, coding, math-based design, and original music. These projects show his interest in logic, creativity, communication, and interdisciplinary learning.

A Learning Journey Shaped by Interdisciplinary Thinking

Alan’s work is shaped by the MBacc approach to critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and reflection. Rather than treating each subject as separate, he connects science, engineering, mathematics, AI, puzzles, and music into one coherent learning journey.
